Though Alberta has its share of upscale elegant restaurants, the restaurants in this section are more likely to be casual in atmosphere and reasonable in price, though not necessarily casual in their attitude to good food.

Just because you’re dressed in jeans (which many visitors and locals are) doesn’t mean you’re looking for slapdash food. Here you’ll find deli-style cafes, gourmet coffee shops, diners and small town mom-and-pop ethnic eateries, along with established franchises.
