Rodeos in Alberta
Combining sport, spectacle, and agrarian prairie culture, the rodeo is alive and well throughout every big Albertan city and tiny towns, and comprising some of Alberta’s largest celebrations.
Some rodeos are citywide events and big money spectacles, anchoring many related events and parties. In contrast, small town rodeos are concentrated, community- oriented affairs where travelers can experience authentic Albertan flare, without the flash.
