Both Calgary (YYC) and Edmonton (YEG) have international airports that receive arrivals from all over the world. Both offer non-stop service to more than 100 destinations in Canada, the United States and around the world. Edmonton is a major air transportation gateway to northern Alberta and northern Canada.
Calgary International Airport
Location: 18 km (11 mi) northeast of Calgary, about 20 minutes from downtown in light traffic. Two of the busier times are July during the Calgary Stampede and the Christmas holidays.

Ground transportation including airport shuttles, bus & tour operators, Calgary Transit, rental cars, limousines and taxis are available to take you to your destination.
Calgary - Banff Connections: There are a number of options to get to Banff and Jasper national parks by bus from Calgary or Edmonton International airports.
Edmonton International Airport

Ground transportation: The skyshuttle is most economic way to travel between the airport and various locations in Edmonton. The skyshuttle pick-up point is centrally located on the Arrivals Level (next to door #7). Hotel Shuttles, Rental Cars, Taxis and Limousines are available to take you to your final destination. Note: Edmonton Transit System (ETS) does not provide service to the Edmonton International Airport (EIA) as it is outside the City of Edmonton. However the Route 590 Leduc C-line route provides an inter-municipal transit link from Century Park Century Park LRT Station in Edmonton and travels to the Edmonton International Airport.
Edmonton - Jasper Connections: There are a number of options to get to Banff and Jasper national parks by bus from Calgary or Edmonton International airports.

Scheduled and charter flights are available to regional airports within Alberta’s larger communities including Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Lloydminster, High Level and Rainbow Lake. Most activity in is focused on providing charter, commercial and air ambulance services mainly within Alberta. Connections are available to communities in British Columbia, Saskatchewan and northern Canada.
