The Town Hall of Vila Real de Santo António and the Association of Defence, Rehabilitation, Research and Promotion of the Heritage of Cacela (Adrip) are once again organizing the annual Gastronomic Show in Cacela. This event, now in it's 4th year, will take place from June 16th until June 30th in a selection of restaurants. The aim of this gastronomy event is to expose the tastes and flavours of Cacela, a village located between the mountains and the sea, and aims to promote local products and food traditions with old recipes or new creations. During this event you will have the opportunity to taste many delicious, diverse, and traditional dishes.

For the desserts, the menus include specialities such as orange pudding or almonds and gila tart, fig and carob cheesecake, lemon & mint mousse, sweet rice with carob or carob cake. Many of the participating restaurants are located in areas with beautiful views.
