The Irish Cabin Pub

No matter what language you speak, a translation of "a good night out in Vilamoura " is the "Irish Cabin Pub". This famous bar overlooks the Algarve’s most famous marina, and is internationally known as the liveliest nightspot in the Algarve.

The Irish Cabin is large and the terrace is huge. It is THE place for sundowners, watching matches, having fun, watching people, listening to live music, having fun, enjoying good pub grub, having fun, making friends, having fun........

Open all day, from 10 am right through to 2 am, the Irish Cabin building stands out from the crowd. The high sloping roof and distinctive outside makes it easy to spot, and the huge wooden deck has probably the best views over Vilamoura marina. The inside bar, with upper and lower levels is decked out in traditional Irish pub – plenty of wood and tiffany lamps. The deck has its own outside bar and there are several large screen TVs scattered around so you can keep an eye on all the important sporting activity.

During the day and early evening, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. Sitting under the shade of the enormous tree in the centre of the terrace, eyeing the luxurious yachts moored in the marina, cool drink in hand, life can feel pretty good. As the sun goes down the tempo goes up. The band takes to the stage and the place soon fills up for another Irish Cabin night – giving a whole new meaning to the term cabin fever!

Food is served all day at the Irish Cabin – breakfasts, snacks, sandwiches, steaks, homemade burgers and giant toasties. You can be sure of a crowd when the big sports fixtures are on and there is enough space and enough screens to accommodate every faction.

There is live music every night during the summer months. A mix of local and international acts belt out everybody's favorites until the early hours, dancing on the tables is the norm, and serious fun is there to be had by all. Not to be missed!
