The Algarve is famous for its gorgeous beaches, excellent seafood and wonderful hospitality. At BJ’s Oceanside Restaurant you find all this and more. BJ’s Oceanside is right on the beach at Praia de Almargem, at the western edge of the Golden Triangle. Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are to the East, Vilamoura to the West. And right in front of you - the vast Atlantic. Backed by stands of pine trees, with a natural lagoon to one side, it is hard to imagine a better setting.
The main terrace at BJ’s Oceanside overhangs the ocean and is perfect for either a long lunch or a romantic dinner. Open every day, you can enjoy some very good seafood and an excellent choice of wines. The fresh fish comes straight from the market each morning. A lunch of lightly grilled fish, served with a fresh salad and some chilled wine, while watching the waves break on the beach is pretty much everybody’s idea of Algarve heaven.
The menu features a good selection of fish, several prawn dishes as well as mussels and clams. There is also a choice of sirloin and fillet steak and pasta dishes, and a snack menu that is served throughout the day.
As the day draws to a close, the terrace at BJ’s Oceanside is the place of choice for an evening cocktail and to watch the daily miracle of the setting sun. At night the restaurant is the perfect romantic setting.
The team at BJ’s Oceanside, headed by owners Bex and John, create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is just the place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life – food for both body and soul.

We found this to be a really good end of beach day option for either food or just a drink. the staff were lovely, very friendly. The food was first class. all round - an excellent experience.

Sun and Sleep from Almancil
This is our family's MOST favourite place to go and spend a lazy day. Chill out on the beach, enjoy a few drinks, eat and ice cream, order some wicked food, enjoy a chat with the beautiful Bex, enjoy a Jay's special hamburger, the giant prawns are a speciality :-)
Always welcomed with open arms and a smile - so many places claim to be friendly but BJ's Oceanside actually puts it into practice - perfectly.
100% recommend going for a visit, you will go back !

This is the place at the beach in the Golden Triangle to have a meal - especially at dinner time to watch the spectacular sunset!
And - you are not sitting on plastic!!!! (people, who have been to beach restaurants here in Algarve, will know what I am talking about!)
