
	The Lemon Tree - O Limoeiro Overview Located in the heart of Almancil, O Limoeiro - The Lemon Tree Restaurant, is an extremely popular, cosmopolitan restaurant, serving a wonderful fusion of Portuguese and northern European cuisine. The interior is small and intimate with the lemon tree theme a predominate part of the decor! For those warm summer evenings or long afternoon lunches, there is a lovely, secluded courtyard with a small fountain. The centre piece is the impressive lemon tree from which the restaurant takes its name. Open for lunch and dinner, the food at The Lemon Tree is superb. Everything is prepared fresh on a daily basis and cooked to perfection. Scottish Owners Robert and Anne are more than happy to cater for all tastes and offer a menu that appeals to a wide audience with a good selection of local wines that won´t break the bank. There is a changing daily lunch menu that is great value for money - making the Lemon Tree a very popular choice among local residents and visitors. The dinner menu always has some daily specials as well as some signature Lemon Tree dishes. Portions are very generous, but make sure you factor in dessert. All home-made and delicious. The Lemon Tree is very reasonably priced and combines excellent food, with a warm, friendly atmosphere and impeccable service.
