Mar à Vista, in Sagres is a welcoming, traditional restaurant with truly spectacular views across the ocean. Excellent seafood, friendly service and an enviable wine list completes their recipe for success.

The restaurant overlooks Praia da Mareta in Sagres, right on the tip of the Western Algarve. The views really are stunning – miles of ocean, the rugged landscape of Sagres and sunsets that will take your breath away. To make the most of the great location you can choose to dine on the outside terrace. The décor is perfect for the setting – lots of wood panelling and maritime memorabilia.

The menu includes a vast selection of seafood. Wonderfully fresh fish, caught just off the shore, oysters, lobsters, barnacles, cataplanas and caldeiradas – local fish stew. One of the house specials is the Lobster Pasta dish – Massa de Lavagante. If you are not a fish eater, don’t despair, Mar à Vista serves up excellent grilled meats and tasty steaks.
