Kaya's Restaurant

Kaya's Restaurant in Almancil is a great venue for very tasty and very good value food. An excellent choice for families, the garden terrace is perfect for outside summer dining.

Recently renovated, Kaya's is a colourful and fresh restaurant. Spacious, with plenty of room between tables and on the terrace, Kaya's offer lunch and dinner menus that are very good value for the quality of the food. The menu is international and Portuguese with some Austrian specialities thrown in for good measure. There is a special childrens menu available, and half portions of the regular menu can be ordered too. In fact, Kaya's caters really well for children, as they have a comfy sofa area with plenty of games to keep the kids entertained.

The dinner menu covers a whole range of cuisines. Special mention for the Sea Bream cooked in a salt crust. It takes a little bit of time but the result is worth the wait - really succulent and delicately flavoured fish. The dinner menu also features steak, chicken dishes and a vegetarian option. And leave room for dessert - home-made chocolate chip cake with hot chocolate sauce and cream anyone?

Centrally located in Almancil, and with a distinctive stone castle facade, Kaya's is an excellent option for lunch too. The menu has a choice of smaller courses available for both lunch and dinner - they are delicious, original and very good value . There is free WiFi for customers making Kaya's a handy option for a working lunch or to connect with home.

And if you love fresh fish and chips, the Friday is the day to visit Kaya's for fresh cod and homemade chips, served all day (€9,50 including a drink).
