WiFi Access in the Algarve
Easy WiFi Internet access in the Algarve is no longer hit and miss. There are many establishments offering free internet access when you are a customer such as bars, restaurants and cafés. Bear in mind that signals may be weaker in the hills and away from the larger towns and tourist areas. Many places that offer wi-fi don't always make that information easily visible, so always ask.
Most hotels and accommodation offer internet access within rooms or public areas, some free, some charged, but while you are out and about there are also some public access points in most of the municipal buildings such as libraries and some supermarket café’s.Larger town centres usually also have an internet café or two where you can find access to a computer.
Aqua Portimao has free wifi throughout the shopping centre.
At the Forum Algarve in Faro there is wifi access in the food hall area.
