Lovely hotel in the historic heart of Denia. The restaurant has delicious local dishes at great prices.
Hostal Loreto is a historic hotel with 43 bedrooms and a lively cafe/restaurant. The building dates from the sixteenth century and is a former nunnery. It is in a pretty little pedestrianised street with plenty of bars and restaurants.
Denia's main shopping street is a minute's walk away and the sandy beaches are just a few minutes from the hotel, which is 800 metres from the nearest beach. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Denia's old town and castle. The hotel has retained many of its historic charms while also having modern facilities. There are rumours that a tunnel links the hotel to the nearby castle.
The 43 bedrooms all have flatscreen televisions, air-conditioning, ceiling fans and en-suite bathrooms. The hotel hosts weekly activities, which guests are welcome to join, including Tai Chi, Pilates, ballroom dancing, Salsa and Spanish lessons.
Hostal Loreto has a lovely restaurant which offers local dishes and fresh fish.
