Alicante Arabic Restaurants

Our Local Experts say:

The Costa Blanca's Moorish past and close proximity to Morocco has led to many Arabic restaurants starting up in the region. Fine spices and garlic are combined to make tasty dishes.

Copious amounts of garlic and olive oil are used in their cooking, which is very similar to the Mediterranean diet.

Most importantly the food needs to be fresh, wholesome and tasty.  They also serve mezze which is small tasty dishes similar to the Spanish tapas.

You will find many similarities between Spanish and Arabic food. We would recommend a night at an Arabic restaurant during your stay - you're sure to find it very Moor-ish.
