Taxi

By far the easiest option to get around the Costa Blanca is by using the Taxis. Compared to other destinations taxis are fairly good value in Spain. You will notice that not all taxis are metered but they will definitely have a booklet of official rates that are set by the local town hall.

Generally there are taxi ranks in every city centre, bars and restaurants will be able to call a taxi for you. Or you can simply flag one down on the street. You will know that one is available when they have a green light on top of the vehicle and the sign shows the word ‘libre’ (free).
