On Saturday, 16th November 2013, the world-famous Concertgebouw will hold a stellar orchestra event centred around the works of George Frideric Handel, a 17th century German composer of international fame. His most noteworthy piece, the Messiah, will be reproduced by a Dutch choir group. The Messiah, incidentally, also features the world-famous Hallelujah song. It explores gospel themes of the Old and New Testament.
The Concertgebouw is renowned across the world for its grand orchestral performances and musical events celebrating the works of the masters in this field. Handel’s Messiah is not an event you should miss.
