How to get there
The Erotic Museum is located in the core of the Red Light District, which is about a 5 minute-walk from Centraal Station or Dam Square. You won’t have much of a problem finding it. Ask a few locals if you feel lost, the place is quite popular there.

Our Locals' Tip: By far the most controversial, yet popular exhibit within the Erotic museum is the television room, which has toadstools for seats and plays only naughty cartoons all the time.
Erotic Museum is the next best thing to actually going down Amsterdam's Red Light. Also, the Museum in itself is a true delight to experience. The five-floor Erotic Museum is filled with different kinds of sensuous memorabilia and erotica from different eras in history. There are sculptures, paintings, playing cards, photographs, videos and various other seemingly innocuous items, until you notice the naked ladies or the depictions of sexual gratification upon them. The Erotic Museum seems to make its message clear on the cash counter itself, with a model of a woman on a bicycle, subtly positioned so that visitors may catch a peek-a-boo under her dress. There are several other caricatures which tell the tale of intercourse through the ages.
