Erotic Museum is the next best thing to actually going down Amsterdam's Red Light. Also, the Museum in itself is a true delight to experience. The five-floor Erotic Museum is filled with different kinds of sensuous memorabilia and erotica from different eras in history. There are sculptures, paintings, playing cards, photographs, videos and various other seemingly innocuous items, until you notice the naked ladies or the depictions of sexual gratification upon them. The Erotic Museum seems to make its message clear on the cash counter itself, with a model of a woman on a bicycle, subtly positioned so that visitors may catch a peek-a-boo under her dress. There are several other caricatures which tell the tale of intercourse through the ages.
