Creating a museum on a barge, known as the Hendrika Maria, the Houseboat Museum is a great chance for tourists to experience the life of a sailor living inside a seafaring vessel moored in the Amsterdam Canal. With a splendid background setting of the Prinsengracht canal in Jordaan, one can simply sink, metaphorically speaking only, in the pleasure of the spacious and comfortable museum.
