So, what is a Segway?
A Segway is basically a two-wheeled, self-balancing machine that one stands upon to get from A to B. Simple enough. What gives the Segway extra brownie points is that it is ridiculously easy-to-learn, comfortable to ride and efficient to navigate. Fully electric with zero-emissions, the Segway is 11 times more energy-efficient than your average automobile. A guilt-free conscience of leaving no carbon footprints while riding these beauties only adds to the pleasure.

Amsterdam City Tour The general city tour to acquaint the erstwhile tourist to the wondrous cityscape of Amsterdam, the City Tour takes you across the city’s hallmarks such as the De Oude Kerk, Museum Quarter, NEMO-Science Center et al.

Duration: 1 hr 30 minutes (75 minute tour + 15 minutes Segway training)
Dutch Architecture Tour Amsterdam has some of the most interesting and attractive architecture in the world. 17th century houses, churches, museums, bridges and the canals themselves make the city a living Museum with an abundance of architectural delights both old and new.

WWII Remembrance Tour Glide through the plethora of monuments and memorials that echo the tragedies of WWII and the consequent Nazi occupation of Amsterdam. I am a Segway addict, and booked all 3 of the Amsterdam tours, which were my 6th, 7th and 8th times on a Segway. The tours were fun, the guide was very informative, and obviously loved sharing his information about Amsterdam, and watching me enjoy my Segway experience. With all 3 tours we covered most of the city, which is a great way to get an overview of Amsterdam. I highly recommend TheBestDam Segway tours. Just make sure you look both ways when crossing a bike path - the Amsterdam robo-bicyclists don't stop!

Loved it. Daniel was an excellent guide & I felt very safe in the traffic with his instruction & guiding. Riding a Segway is such fun & I just want to do more. He even took photos as we went along & that was the icing on the cake when we got home.

This is an awesome Segway tour company. I checked another one prior to booking and they charged twice as much as BestDamn Segway tours! Our tour guide Daniel was very nice and was an excellent teacher as I had never been on a segway before. He took us on the tour at a good pace and I never felt worried about being on the segway. I would highly recommmend this company for anyone who is looking for a quick, reasonably priced segway tour through the city of Amsterdam. :)

My wife and I took the city tour and it was a lot of fun. Not only riding the Segways -- which is a totally addicting (in a good way) experience -- but also getting to see the various neighborhoods and key spots within the city. Our guide was great in terms of providing an overview and training on how to ride a Segqay - which is actually quite easy. He also served as a good guide throughout the city, stopping along the way to point out key sites and giving a historical overview of different areas. Highly recomend!

September 2011 An awesome ride through the streets of Amsterdam

This was our second time riding a Segway so we were given some refresher training and then we were able to go on the tour. This was a breath of fresh air compared to a previous tour we did in Mexico where the tour was very restrictive. There were just the two of us and Branden guiding us through the city. The roads took some time to get used to, as I don't ride a motor bike and have only ever rode a Segway on a beach it was certainly an experience dodging all of the bicycles and being on the roads with the rest of the traffic. It was a bit scary at times but well worth it for the buzz, I only wish this was legal in England as I'd choose this as my preferred mode of transport any day. We saw a huge amount of the city in the time we had and Branden gave us really interesting information when we stopped along the way. This was the other great thing about this tour, although it was informative there was lots more time spent riding rather than talking, most of the explanations were given at time when we had to stop (traffic lights etc) which was perfect for us. I would definitely recommend this tour!

September 2011 Looks a bit scary, but so much fun

Me and my partner took the WWII tour. There was so many things that we would not have seen had we gone sight seeing by ourselves, so a big thank you to our tour guide, who knew facts about every place we stopped off at. All very interesting.
The segway's looks so easy to ride but the thought of going on one was scary!! But you felt relaxed and there is good training, just enough to make you feel comfortable. As it was we were on training mode for all of 5 minutes and felt happy enough to go to normal mode (we get to go faster!!) which was even more fun. After the first couple of minutes down the road we was both fine. Going though Amsterdam on a segway was great fun and so easy. I would recommend it to anyone.

When we saw segways on Amsterdam roads, we knew wanted to get on it.
One, it is a great machine, great technology
Two, its a great way to see the city
Three, Its a great experience to be on segway, it makes you feel so free, yet so in control.
Segway is easy to ride, safe.
BestDam Segway tours ensure your safety, they first give you a training on how to use it and dont let go till you have got it right, and then its just zippity zap zoom through the lanes of Amsterdam. Amsterdam is a great place to have Segway tour, as the traffic is controlled, nobody drives like mad and there are lanes for cycles and two wheelers and Segway!
Daniel is a great tour guide, he knows the city very well and has interesting stories to tell.
We also got a great deal on the ride ticket.
