How to get there

Accra Beach Hotel & Spa is 11.27 km/7 miles/20 minutes from the airport and approximately 4.85 km/3 miles/15 minutes from Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados. From the Airport, take the ABC Highway to the Garfield Sobers Roundabout. Take the first left onto Rendezvous Hill and follow it to the traffic lights. Turn right, then drive along the South Coast for about 3 minutes until you see the hotel on the left hand side at the end of Rockley Beach.

Our Locals' Tip: There is a shopping plaza right across the road and a taxi stand is conveniently located just next door to the hotel. Try local coconut water! You can usually find a vendor on Accra (Rockley) Beach or around its carpark.

Accra Beach Hotel & Spa's 3.5 acre property is situated in a prime location on the South Coast on one of Barbados' best beaches. This four star property has been awarded the AAA 3 diamond rating and is wheelchair accessible. The hotel does not offer shuttle service to and from the airport - a taxi one-way costs approximately US$25 variable by number of persons and luggage. Taxi service from the hotel can be arranged with the Front Desk and is just a minute away.

Accra Beach Hotel's four stories house a total of 224 guest rooms, including 62 suites, a state room and 6 ocean-view penthouse suites. All rooms provide panoramic views - island, pool, or ocean.

A deposit of 3 nights is required. There is a Christmas supplement of USD25 per person, per day for the period December 23, 2012 to January 1, 2013. Extra person - USD35 per person, per night. There is no charge for children under 12 years sharing a room with two adults. Rates are subject to 8.75% VAT and subject to change without notice. All major credit cards are accepted.

There are 3 restaurants at the Accra Beach Hotel. The Coco Patch overlooks the ocean and serves Caribbean and International cuisine for breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinner. The only Polynesian restaurant on the island is Accra's Wytukai open for dinner only, while the Fig Tree snack bar offers light lunches. The swim-up pool bar Lagoon, and the Sand Bar Lounge serve cool Caribbean drinks throughout the day and great cocktails in the evenings.
