Aerial Trek Overview

Aerial Trek's Zipline Adventures takes you off the beaten track and high over Barbados' lush ecosystem with zipline technology.

Feel your adrenaline skyrocket as you glide from platform to platform (eight manned platforms, in fact) along double lines similar to those used for rock and mountain climbing, with redundancy for increased safety. The 1000ft course was built by specialists International Construction and Rigging Co. Ltd., to the approved standards of the Association for Course Technologists.

The tour begins with a brief nature walk to base where guests are given a safety briefing and gear - the harness system, helmet and gloves that will further ensure a fun but safe excursion. At each platform guests will meet two experienced guides who provide information on the eco-system and the area's geology, but also ensure guests are as secure from platform to platform as when they first began the trip.

The tour moves from shorter zips to longer zips as guests progress through the course. At the end it's just a short walk back to the base for refreshments, and souvenir photos, branded merchandise and apparel are available for purchase.

The Aerial Trek Zipline tours run from 9am with the last tour at 2pm. The tour is approximately an hour depending on the size of the group and time taken for observation and photos.

Notes:

1. The minimum age for this tour is 12 years and maximum is 80 years. The tour is not recommended for pregnant women. Guests must be between 75 lbs and 250lbs.

2. This tour is not recommended for persons with limited mobility or difficulty walking.

3. Cameras should have straps that can be secured to the safety gear.

4. Guests should wear enclosed shoes, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing. No skirts/dresses are allowed. Bring only the necessities though lockers are provided.
