Heading up My Destination Barcelona - Núria Llàcer

Núria´s first encounter with MyDestination.com started with the Costa Brava site, but she always thought that it would be great to run the Barcelona site as part of the My Destination network. Luckily now she has the opportunity to show everybody in the world the city where she was born, and where she always returns.

I believe that if we don’t travel we can’t appreciate the good things in our lives. When I get back off a trip, it doesn’t matter if I’ve been in a small rural village or a large cosmopolitan city, I feel that I become more objective about things. I can also stand back and be critical, as I can see the disadvantages of a big city, but at the same time I can value the simpler and smaller things and those little things are the gems that make Barcelona so attractive.

To be able to show the hotspots of Barcelona, Núria got the help of her partner Michael. Michael was born in the cold but green north of Germany, and after many years in Trier, where they both met, he is more than happy to have Barcelona as his personal destination.
