Michael Nyman Overview
After having visited Barcelona in 2010 to present the album ‘The Glare’, an album which was created in collaboration with the singer David McAlmont, the well-known composer and pianist Micheal Nymann is back in Barcelona, this time within the Festival del Mil·lenni. This time he will be surrounded by a spectacular band, including violins, saxophones, sopranos and baritones. The result will undoubtedly fascinate this versatile artist’s (he is also an interpreter, director, pianist, writer, musicologist, photographer and film maker) fans, who is already known to be one of the most interesting cultural icons of our times.
