From 20th to 25th July, the Palau Sant Jordi will be the base for the USA basketball team, where it will carry out its final training sessions in the run-up to the 2012 London Olympics, playing two friendly games with Argentina on 22nd and Spain on 24th. The three top national teams – USA, Spain and Argentina – will be vying with each other for the title. The Spanish basketball team will be pitted against the mighty US team in a friendly match leading up to the London Olympics. The US team plays in the world’s best basketball league, the NBA, and during this visit will give us the chance to see giants of the game such as Kobe Bryant and LeBron James playing against Gasol and Reyes in Barcelona.

The Palau Sant Jordi will be the setting for the 26th encounter between Spain and the United States, arguably two of today’s best teams.
