Black Box - Centre For Cold War

Berlin

Museums

The centre offers guided tours on a daily basis at 2pm Monday-Saturday and 3.30pm on Sundays, teaching participants about the divide of Germany and Berlin between the victorious powers from World War II.

The Berlin Blockade, the Korean War and the Cuban Missile Crisis are all covered in detail - as are the economic crises, terrorist attacks, military conflicts of the 1980s and the final bankruptcy of the USSR and the end of the Cold War in 1991.

The centre is open every day from 10am to 6pm. Nice and affordable at only €5 for adults and free for children, discounts are available for groups and you can also purchase a combination ticket for entry to the Black Box and the fabulous ASISI Panorama exhibit 'The Wall' which is right next door, for only €12.50.
