Kirsty Brown
Head of Content at My Destination
Fan of exploring new places, running long distances and seeking out sunshine, Kirsty is as known for her itchy feet as her dire sense of direction. After her first solo visit to Germany aged 14 she has now lived, worked, explored and studied in a plethora of countries from Spain, Equador, Laos and Canada to Cambodia, Peru and Argentina.
Will Jones
Travel Writer at My Destination
Renowned for his extraordinary ability to instantly forget information of practical value, such as his blood type, and to effortlessly retain information of absolutely no value whatsoever, such as the fact that 15% of the world’s methane is produced by cow farts, Will found himself tapping away at My Destination’s keyboards following a year travelling and blogging in the usual places doing the usual things. Apart from India. Nothing usual about India. Aside from Travel, he has various obsessions, some of which include piano-playing, words, cycling and jetpacks, though these are all subject to change, such is his nature.
Emily Waller
Travel Writer at My Destination
Unfortunately nicknamed the Hoary Marmot after discovering this cute little critter in North America, Emily enjoys the occasional banterous office exchange. Forming a contributing part of the crazy content team, her particular passions lie in art, cinema, theatre and of course travel. Reigning Italy above all else, she dreams of fleeing the country to float upon a cultural cloud on the continent.
Alex Plim
Travel Writer at My Destination
Alex first realised his weakness for travel when he arrived in Delhi, India, and spent the ensuing six months trying to move as far away from it as possible. His journey took him across three continents and through fourteen of the world’s most chimerical destinations, a path that eventually led to London, where he now passes his time battling with writer’s block in the My Destination office. Alex suffers from occasional lapses in common sense, but otherwise enjoys satiating his ears, eyes, mind and stomach with various scrumptious things.
Anna-Lucy Terry
Social Media Analyst at My Destination
Anna introduced herself gracefully to the My Destination office by falling down the stairs, breaking her cereal bowl and pouring boiling hot coffee all over her face! Luckily, this clumsy London bred chatterbox doesn’t need the gift of coordination to work in the Social Media team. Anna’s passions lie in music, radio, going to gigs and festivals, sampling exotic foods (anything with peas!) and experiencing different cultures wherever she can.
