#TTOT Shout Outs: Up and Coming Destinations
Ever at the epicentre of fashionable trends, the #TTOT community prides itself on knowing the ins and outs of what is ‘so unbelievably hot right now’ and they certainly didn’t disappoint today. This week, the Travel Talk on Twitter-verse took to sifting the drab from the delectable in a discussion about the up and coming destinations set to take the world by storm in the coming months. We’ll have to wait and see who predicted the real trail blazers, but for now, we can watch from the back row and comment loudly on the mixed bag of couture-al delights that have come our way. We’re just classy like that…
The questions this week were:
Q1. Name 3 cities to travel to in 2013.
Q2. What motivates you to step out of your comfort zone and discover new destinations?
Q3. Where have you visited that is unappreciated and should be on everyone’s list?
Q4. What destination will never go out of style and why?
Q5. What up and coming destination do you want kept a secret?

The ‘In the Doc-house’ Shout Out for being a shining example of your (re)generation.
@kitwhelan: I actually have a sonic [screwdriver], but I don’t pack it because I’m sort of worried about getting it past security.
The ‘Whole Bag Of Shush’ Shout Out for self-censorship.
@OnTheRoadToYou: I would definitely recommend *************** & *************
The ‘Nord A Lot of People Know That’ Shout Out for Stella travel tactics.
@mstarr1188: I think my problem is that I can’t afford to drink in Norway, so I travel based on alcohol.
The ‘Fallen On Yard Times’ for starting a legend.
@Travel_Rich: My back garden is up and coming. Luckily you need a top class compass and map to find it…
The ‘Waist-ing Away’ Shout Out for appreciating the fat of the land.
@indohoy: Because comfort zones make you fat. And we can’t afford to always buy new pairs of pants…
The ‘Rising Star(opramen)’ Shout Out for taking a Prague-matic approach.
@itravel81: Pilsen, Czech Republic. Finger licking good beer country!
The ‘Stan and Deliver’ shout out for beginning at the end.
@qualityhunters: As some people have suggested, go East and visit all the countries ending in ”-stan”.
The ‘Mood Poisoning’ Shout Out for really clucking that one up.
@NicoleTravelBug: So much talk of food and I find out the chicken I was going to have for dinner has expired! Damn it!!
The ‘Vacuumulated Experience’ Shout Out for being a real hoover and shaker.
@traveldudes: Yes, I know that feeling. Slow travel is tough for me, as I want to suck as much in as possible.
The ‘Young and The Restless’ Shout Out for refusing to let sit happen.
@Zimo1984: I am not sure I have a comfort zone. I can’t even find a comfortable position when I watch TV.
The ‘Twine Of Your Life’ Shout Out for stringing a sentence together
@anuragamuffin: I travel to unravel – myself and the wonderful world I live in!
And finally, two TTOT’ers spark the beginnings of an Australia vs NZ war…
@FourJandals: C’mon, who calls jandals “thongs”? That’s meant for your butt cheeks!
@PLUSjordi: Who calls sandals “jandals”? That’s taking a perfectly good word and strangling it!
Talking of up and comers, why not take a peek at some of the rising stars of the travel blogging world while you’re here, and don’t forget to pop in again next week for another round of the world’s greatest travel chat (you might even get a cuppa if you’re lucky)!
