Bordeaux’s setting sun is the cue for action as 172 bars and nightclubs open up throughout the city. Party goers gather to fill café terraces at Place de la Victoire. Down at the Quays, moonlight finds the nightclubs opening up full throttle.

A great place to check out the nightlife scene is the very trendy Bassins ά Flot or the wet docks where restaurants, bars and clubs have taken over the old hangars. Bordeaux has some great Irish and English pubs, many with live entertainment and bands. The French have also embraced this culture especially when there’s a football match going!
