Getting from the airport to Bristol

Bristol Flyer operates a regular service from the airport to Bristol City Centre. The service is less frequent during the night so check the timetable on line beforehand. The journey to the City Centre takes approximately 35 minutes and you can either book online, pay on board or buy a ticket from the Fast Ticket machine in the airport.

Checker Cars operate the taxi service at Bristol Airport. Their office is conveniently located just outside the terminal building. Turn left as you leave the building and the taxi office is located at the end on the left.

A variety of car rental companies operate from Bristol Airport. It is advisable to compare prices before booking and it is often better to book in advance for the best deals.

National Express runs a coach service from Heathrow and Gatwick Airports to Bristol Bus Station. The journey from Heathrow takes 2hrs- 2hrs 30mins depending on which Heathrow terminal you are travelling from. From Gatwick it takes about 3hrs 30 minutes.
