We have stayed here a few times and while it has some wonderful features, it seems to be just a little tired and needs some TLC. The Lodge at the Beach has smaller rooms but very adequate. The huge lounge on the main floor is wonderfully comfortable and relaxing to just lounge, to read, or to enjoy their fresh made cookies with tea in the late afternoon! The Lodge at the Headlands has nice cabins and if you can get one with a tub on the deck it is wonderful to sit in the hot tub reading a book and listening to the sound sound of the ocean exhaling upon the shore and the rocks. The staff have always been wonderful when we have been there. They don't serve dinner every night but when they do it is not bad. Not the best but not bad.
