![]() Canadian Princess Resort OverviewCanadian Princess Resort is a sport fishing and adventure portal located in the world-renowned wilderness destination of Ucluelet, on Vancouver Island's west coast. Guests at Canadian Princess Resort have the choice of sleeping on land in hotel style suites, or bunking aboard the permanently moored iconic Canadian Princess, a 1930s survey ship whose resume includes secret missions for the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII.
Geared towards group holidays, Canadian Princess Resort is an experience best savoured with friends or colleagues. From fishing derbies to whale watching adventures, days are spent on the water or exploring the treasures of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve; evenings, relished over a pint in the shipboard Pub as the sun sets over the Pacific. Canadian Princess Resort Rooms: For on-shore hotel accommodation, guests may choose between comfortable double-occupancy rooms (2 double beds)––equipped with cable TV, private bathrooms, and furnished in a laid back, west-coast decor––or loft rooms with 4 beds, ideal for families or groups. Some pet-friendly rooms are available upon request.
For guests who never want to come ashore, don't! Bunk in a cabin aboard the Canadian Princess. This refurbished ship's mid-20th century character and nautical decor (to state the obvious) are reflected in the sleeping quarters: wood-paneling, bunk-style beds, washbasins, and shared washroom/shower facilities––making a west-coast fishing trip all the more authentic. Canadian Princess Resort Restaurants & Bars: Dining at Canadian Princess Resort is hosted aboard the ship in the Stewart Dining Room, with a varied menu offering predominantly West Coast cuisine. The legendary Fisherman's Breakfast is served buffet-style before the morning fishing trips. Boxed lunches may be ordered for take-away as many guests choose to dine out on the water while reeling in the big ones. The Chart Room Lounge is the on-board pub, a popular hangout for beers and brags about the day's catch. Canadian Princess Resort Facilities: Fishing packages include all tackle and every catch to be professionally cleaned, packaged and refrigerated during the guest’s stay. Processing options are available by request for canning or smoking and can be arranged through Canadian Princess Resort. Guest parking is complimentary though the Resort regrets that it cannot at this time accommodate overnight parking for RVs. The sportfishing Resort is a pet-friendly establishment. |
