How to get to Compass Point Inn
January 31, 2010, King George Highway was officially renamed King George Boulevard. Note that older maps will still display its former name.

From Vancouver International Airport, take the Highway 99 South, and then Highway 91 East, Exit Nordel Way, and take a left at King George Boulevard.

From the south at Peach Arch Border Crossing (USA) take Exit 10, and turn right onto King George Boulevard.

From BC Ferries at Tsawwassen Terminal, head south (towards Seattle) on Highway 99, exit King George Boulevard.

From BC Ferries at Horseshoe Bay Terminal head east on the Highway, and after crossing Port Mann Bridge take exit 48 onto 152 Street, turn right on 104th Avenue, and then take a turn left on King George Boulevard.

Compass Point Inn Overview

The Compass Point Inn, located in Surrey BC, is a full service boutique-style hotel featuring a variety of room configurations, three on-site dining choices, indoor heated pool, spa and exercise facilities with a hot tub, and a convention centre. Children under 18 can stay for free with parents.

The hotel's old world charm interior features exposed brick, prominently displayed wood-carved paneling, relaxed lighting and a warm colour palette. The lobby and common areas are furnished with west-coast driftwood and Canadiana antler furniture; overstuffed leather couches; and original coastal paintings, totems and sculptures by acclaimed artists such as Bill Reid, Maxwell Bates and Jack Shadboldt.

The Compass Point Inn is situated at the junction of the Fraser Highway and King George Highway, making it a convenient resting place in the heart of Surrey, and just 35 minutes drive from Vancouver International Airport, and 25 minutes from the Canadian/USA border. The SkyTrain is located outside the hotel, provides express transportation to downtown Vancouver.

Compass Point Inn Rooms:

Guests are invited to choose between spacious rooms with one or two beds (all King or Queen size), as well as larger luxury suites. The room decor is in keeping with a contemporary interior design, colourful framed prints and sculptures, and plenty of cozy furniture and pillows. Additional options include adjoining rooms, and an Accessible Room for guests with mobility challenges.

Guest room amenities include: complimentary newspaper and wireless internet, in-room coffee/tea, with a fridge and microwave, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, cable TV and radio/clock. Cribs and rollaway beds are available on request.

Compass Point Inn Restaurants & Bars:

Guests at the Compass Point Inn have several in-house dining choices which include breakfast, lunch or dinner, and a sports lounge with 18 beer taps specializing in small scale craft brew.

The Garden Bistro boasts made-to-order breakfasts and lunches of homemade soups, burgers, and salads using fresh local ingredients. The bistro is open daily from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Jake's Steakhouse and Burger Bar features a dinner menu prominently featuring fresh seafood, steak, burgers and west coast gastro-pub style comfort food. Jake's is open Monday through Saturday from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.

Amber Jack's Tap House is an upbeat sports bar featuring pool tables, dart boards, satellite TV, two seasonal patios, weekly karaoke nights, and live bands every Friday and Saturday night. All the fun is accompanied by an extensive beer list and classic pub fare. Amber Jack's is open daily from 11:00am until midnight on Sundays, and until 1:00am during the rest of the week.

Compass Point Inn Facilities:

The Compass Point Inn is wheelchair accessible, and facilities include an indoor heated pool, whirlpool, fitness room open daily from 6:00am to 11:00pm, day spa services, 24-hour front desk and business services, liquor store open daily, and snack and ice machines. Complimentary parking is available as well as coin laundry and dry cleaning services. A designated conference centre accommodating 600+ guests and banquet meeting rooms include audiovisual equipment and catering. The hotel is a pet-friendly establishment with rooms to accommodation four-legged guests.
