Tyax Wilderness Resort & Spa offers two options for accommodation, including spacious suites in the main lodge, and a freestanding private 6-bedroom log chalet, ideal for large groups. The main lodge's 28 stylishly appointed rooms are decorated in a modern colour palette with contemporary furniture--plenty of wood and natural elements--reflecting the overall architectural design of the resort; many rooms also feature breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains. All rooms sleep up to 4 people and come equipped with ensuite bathroom. One pet is welcome in the designated pet-friendly rooms. The private chalet features 6 bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each, 3 bathrooms, river-rock fireplace, BBQ, satellite TV, wifi, and hot tub as well as a large private deck overlooking the lake.

Wintertime is heli-skiing season, with the mountain trails also doubling as excellent snowshoeing and cross country ski routes, and the frozen lake ideal for ice fishing and ice skating.
