Hotel Grand Pacific Overview

The Hotel Grand Pacific is a large property on Victoria’s Inner Harbour, close to the city’s most popular attractions. This award-winning property offers well-equipped luxury guest rooms and suites. There is a large fitness centre with classes and a swimming pool, and an on-site spa. There are several formal and casual dining options, and the main restaurant serves a delicious afternoon tea. There are amenities for business travelers, and extensive facilities for meetings and social events. Much of the hotel provides guests with beautiful views of the harbour, the Parliament, and the Olympic Mountains.

Hotel Grand Pacific Rooms:

The hotel has climate-controlled guest rooms and suites, with a variety of bedding configurations. All of the rooms have private balconies. Some rooms overlook the Inner Harbour, the Legislative Buildings, the hotel gardens, or the Olympic Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The décor features colonial-era furniture with carved wooden furniture, and soft neutral colours. The rooms include cable television with pay-per-view movies and Nintendo games, and free high-speed internet access. There are irons and ironing boards. There are mini-bars, and guests can make their own morning coffee or tea. The private bathrooms have a hair dryer and luxury toiletries. Guests receive a free morning newspaper. The One-Bedroom Suites have a king-sized bed or two queen beds, with televisions in both the living room and the bedroom. The suites with a king-sized bed also have a sofa bed in the living room. The suites have additional amenities, such as a CD player, a bathrobe, and lighted vanity mirrors. There are three luxury suite options, all with whirlpool bathtubs, fireplaces, and dining room areas. The Olympic Suite has a mountain view. Its bedroom has a king-sized carved four-poster bed, and an electric fireplace. The Premier Suite overlooks the Parliament buildings and the harbor. This suite has a large area for entertaining, including a wet bar. Its bedroom also has a four-poster king bed. The Mount Douglas, Songhees, Victoria, and Malahat Suites all overlook the Inner Harbour, and have balconies, a large living area, luxury bathrooms, and a gas fireplace.

Hotel Grand Pacific Restaurants & Bars:

The Pacific Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Its menu focuses on Pacific Northwest specialties, including sustainably harvested seafood. It also serves a West Coast Afternoon Tea, part of a popular Victoria tradition. There is live music on weekend evenings. The Pacific Lounge is an elegant space to relax with a drink. The Mark is a private dining experience, for up to 26 people, with a constantly changing gourmet menu, and a wine list featuring European and New World vintages. For more casual dining, the Courtyard Café serves a deli-style menu accompanied by fresh pastries, smoothies and coffee. The hotel has room service, with various menus available at different times of day.

Hotel Grand Pacific Facilities:

A concierge can help with sightseeing, travel, dining, and entertainment arrangements. Guests can enjoy a range of health and beauty treatments at the hotel spa. The Grand Pacific Athletic Club provides cardio equipment and free weights, and offers several fitness classes. A squash court can be reserved. There is an indoor swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a steam room, and a sauna. The hotel has extensive meeting room facilities, including a waterfront ballroom. Two of the hotel’s nine meeting facilities can be subdivided, providing space for even more separate groups. Catering and audio-visual equipment are available for meetings and social events. Wedding packages are offered. The hotel business centre includes work areas, computers, high speed internet access, document services, and secretarial services upon request. The Business Centre boardroom can be booked for small meetings. Pets are welcome for an additional fee; please contact the hotel directly for details on their policy and its restrictions. There is an underground garage where guests can park for an additional fee.
