The Listel Hotel

The Listel Hotel Rooms:

There are 119 air-conditioned guest rooms and 10 suites. The beds have down comforters. Free wired and wireless internet access is provided, and guests can make a limited number of free local telephone calls. The rooms include desks with task lighting and telephones with data ports. There are televisions with pay-per-view movies. Guests can make their own morning coffee or tea, and there is a fully stocked mini-bar. The private bathrooms have a hair dryer, and there are irons and ironing boards. The Standard Floor guest rooms have a colorful, contemporary décor, and are furnished with a king-sized bed, or one or two queen-sized beds, and a seating area. The Museum Floor rooms are decorated in a style inspired by British Columbia, in conjunction with the UNC Museum of Anthropology. The soft colors are drawn from Pacific Northwest forests, and the furniture is built of hemlock and cedar wood. The rooms have a king-sized bed or a queen-sized bed. The artwork is by contemporary First Nation Northwest coast artists. The Gallery Floor Rooms are curated by the Buschlen Mowatt Galleries, and highlight the work of contemporary international and Canadian artists. The rooms have cherrywood furniture and comfortable lounge chairs. Each of the hotel’s individually decorated Artist Series Suites focuses on a different artist or period, including Art Deco, Italian Modern, French Provincial, and Neo-Classical styles. The suites have separate living rooms and bedrooms. All of the accommodations are non-smoking.

The Listel Hotel Restaurants & Bars:

The award-winning O’Doul’s Restaurant and Bar has a West Coast menu, a large wine list, and live jazz performances every night. The hotel offers room service from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The Listel Hotel Facilities:

The staff can provide sightseeing and dining recommendations. Guests can access the hotel’s fitness centre and whirlpool at no additional charge. Guests also receive free access to a nearby local gym. There are six meeting rooms, one of which can be subdivided, with audio-visual equipment. Catering for events is available. There is a computer kiosk in the lobby with 24-hour internet access and a laser printer. The hotel uses the GuestTek wireless high-speed internet access system. Copy, fax and courier services are available. There is a same-day laundry and dry cleaning service. There is valet parking for an additional fee.
