The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) is located on the campus of the University of British Columbia, twenty minutes from downtown Vancouver. The MOA is world-renowned for its impressive First Nations collection of approximately 6,000 objects. It also houses notable ethnographic materials and artifacts from around the world including South Pacific, Asia, Europe and the Americas. The MOA is also renowned for its research, teaching, public programs and community connections and embraces its mission to investigate, preserve, and present objects and expressions of human creativity in order to promote understanding of and respect for world cultures.

The Museum and shop is opened year-round from 10:00am to 5:00pm daily with the exception from mid-October to end of January when the museum is closed on Mondays.
