Full Circle: First Nations Performance presents its 11th annual Talking Stick Festival.

The Talking Stick Festival is a 2 week, citywide celebration of Aboriginal performance and art running February 20th -March 4th 2012. The Festival will open at the Roundhouse in Yaletown then expand into the Commercial Drive area of East Vancouver and will feature diverse local, national and international artists in a variety of cabaret, music, dance, theatre, storytelling and visual arts. Highlights include a workshop by dance artist and choreographer Rulan Tangen (New Mexico), Chocolate Woman Dreams the Milky Way- an innovative blend of physical theatre and traditional Kuna aesthetic (Toronto), our ever popular Ab-Original Cabaret, plus our Community Pow Wow , brand new this year and open to all. The festival also provides an assortment of workshops and Artist Talks - providing the opportunity to get up close and personal with many of our esteemed artists.
