November 2011 The Extra That Makes It Superb
Stephanie from Sunshine Coast. BC
In a recent visit to Araxi's we had a wonderful meal but a few things were exceptional.
Their Pemberton Squash Soup was smooth, delicate flavours that made for a superb start to our meal. Their Quebec Foie Gras Parfait is just amazing. Served with their brioche this rich flavoured dish is a must have at Araxi's. The Beef Tenderloin Steak as perfectly cooked. For dessert their Okanagan Poached Pears with Sour Cream Ice Cream and a Vanilla Mascarpone Cheesecake is a must. Their wine pairing choices were great and if you like dessert wines, the Buller Fine Old Muscat (Australia) is perfect alone with the Poached Pears.
If you are looking for a place to eat that will awaken all your senses...this is the place to go.
