Robson Helimagic Tours

Located in the northern part of the Thompson Okanagan region near the Alberta boundary, Robson Helimagic offers some of the best that can be experienced in the Canadian Rockies.

Base in the small town of Valemount just off Highway 5, and with access to over 1,500 acres of back country terrain nestled in three mountain ranges, Robson's boutique heli adventures combine the finest of sights and adventures anytime of the year.

Flight-seeing & Summer Hiking Tours:

Summer and autumn heli tours allow guests time to explore the remote alpine locations of the Selwyn and Rocky Mountain ranges, and to capture breathtaking views. The heli/walking tours are an excellent option for those with holiday time restrictions, and for those who have to consider seniors and kids in their group--and needless to say a great way to jump-start the wilderness experience with the beautiful sights of the Valley of a Thousand Falls, Emperor Falls, Berg and Kinney Lakes and the numerous glaciers in the region.

The Mountain Magic Hike is generally a 5-6 hour excursion in the spectacular region and make it possible for guests to experience the area that would be otherwise not be so easily accessible in that time frame. Geared to all abilities, the guided tour includes a nutritious packed picnic lunch and an experienced guide.

The Ultra Package includes a scenic sightseeing trip of Mount Robson and Berg Lake in addition to the alpine walk and picnic of the Mountain Magic Hike option. Tours may vary in length and terrain to adapt to the group's needs.

As the only company in the area to have landing access to Robson Pass, the Berg Lake Drop has become one of the most popular tours catering to all ages and abilities for viewing some of the most outstanding scenery in BC. Guests can choose to hike the region's world-renowned picturesque 23 km (14 miles) trail in one day or camp at one of the various designated campgrounds managed by BC Parks, and create a multi-day experience. New for 2013 is the "Nurture Your Soul & Save Your Knees Package"--perfect for folks who want to spend the day painting or photographing their surroundings. Get dropped off in the morning and picked up by 5:00 in the afternoon. Robson is restricted to Mondays and Fridays for their Berg Lake drops, and Tuesdays after a long weekend. For hard-core hiking, this is also a popular starting point for the Moose River Route recommended for experienced hikers only.

The Sightseeing Helicopter Tours are available daily year-round.

Robson Helimagic can also arrange for bus tours and custom trips for larger groups and families. It is recommended that all tours be arranged ahead of time to ensure availability. Robson have bases throughout BC and Alberta for air taxi services and can fly guests in for the Helimagic experience.
