Driving north from Cairns along Captain Cook Highway, there are three exits to the right just after the Cairns Tropical Zoo (on the left - you won't miss it) - all of these lead down to William Esplanade on the beach - Paradise on the beach is about half way along - most noticeable feature - being the Apres Beach restaurant - clearly marked. We are also directly opposite the playground.
Driving South from Port Douglas - again on Captain Cook Highway, immediately after passing through Ellis Beach turn left on any of the three exits marked Palm Cove.

Great Holiday

This place is wonderful. Wake to early morning sounds of Australiana - Kookaburras, Cocktatoos etc - down to the beach for a sunrise dip, a quick brekky at one of the local cafes, then off on a tour for the day. At the end of the day a quiet beer or six in the friendly atmosphere of Apres bar on the corner followed by dinner at one of the many restauarnts, then a quiet walk home accompanied by the winsome calls of the curlews under a striking tropical moon and the sounds of the sea. We stayed at 'Paradise' for a week - could easily have made it a month - it is so relaxing - the rooms are great and within easy distance of all you need. Tours pick up from right outside the front door, and Lyn on the Tour Desk will help you will all your needs in this direction.
