The National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) Big Screen Film Festival will travel to Babinda on Thursday 13 September with the screening of 'The Sapphires' (PG), at the Munro Picture Theatre. Enjoy this inspirational tale set in the late 60's about a quartet of young and talented singers from a remote Aboriginal mission. Starring Deborah Mailman and Jessica Mauboy. Tickets $7.
