This fishermans's village is about 150 km's outside Cape Town.The Blue Dolphin is an icon in Paternoster. They have the experience of being one of the oldest Bed and Breakfast Guest Houses in the area. The beauty and pace of this quiet place is almost unbelievable. A day here seems like a week. Kicking back and relaxing is easy to do in these surroundings and the beach is footsteps away... Patenoster has always been a small fishing village and there are white fisherman's cottages with their blue trim all over. Crayfish are very abundant in this area and fishing is great. Blue Dolphin Rooms: Blue Dolphin has 4 rooms with bathrooms en suite. Each room is tastefully appointed with local antique furniture pieces that bring with them a sense of easy country living. The food at Blue Dolphin is also wonderful. Fresh baked bread is served with breakfast -and it is a full farmhouse breakfast too. It is not hard to see why 70% of the Blue Dolphin's guests this year are returning guests. There is a TV in each room and internet. This is an ideal place to kick back and relax with a book. Day bed's, sofa's, couches by the fire if it gets cold at night. Walks on the beach in the evening, watch the fisherman in their boats, look at the dolphins... There is also a self catering cottage option next door at the Baby Dolphin.
