 Hotel Morabeza OverviewThe recently renovated Morabeza hotel has a long tradition in Cape Verde. It was originally built by a couple of Belgian pioneers, who first came to Cape Verde in 1963 and decided to settle down there, after becoming mesmerized by the beauty of Sal island.
Located only 50 yards from a spectacular 3 km long white sand beach. It is quiet enough that you could easily stay there on a business trip, but also great for a honeymoon or a family vacation, as kite and wind surfing, as well as scuba and fishing are readily available on the spot..
The vegetation and architecture around the gardens and pools breathe Cape Verde-style relaxation. The rooms are stylish and the suites luxurious, always maintaining simplicity and class with a local touch. This is not a hotel where you will feel like you could be anywhere else in the world; it will offer you a true Cape Verde experience.

The hotel is famous for the overall experience provided by every staff member as well as for the varied offer of quality dining and the beautiful outdoor pools and sun decks. Hotel Morabeza Rooms: The Morabeza offers 90 charming rooms and 30 suites, with terraces and balconies. Every room has a view, either to the sea or to the luscious gardens.
The refined décor is accompanied by top-notch modern amenities. Both the comfortable rooms and the suites, with their spacious living-rooms, are accompanied by satellite TV, safe, mini-bar, electronic safe and wireless internet.
If you want a more independent experience, the hotel offers two different apartment rental options at Bazamore Residences, located in front of the hotel reception. Hotel Morabeza Restaurants & Bars: The breakfast buffet at the main restaurant presents a stunning variety of cereals, fruits, cheese and home-made breads and delicacies, while the Beach Club, famous for its grill specialties, offers both à la carte dining and kids menus, right on the beach.
The Les Palmiers restaurant offers a more elegant dining experience with some set menu options and live Cape Verde music, dancing and crafts` shows on Saturdays, while La Tortue is a more relaxed and informal restaurant offering international cuisine and great cocktail options at their popular Happy Hour, every day at 6:30 PM.
All of the restaurants offer a balanced mix of Cape Verde specialties and popular international dishes, with an emphasis on the delicious local fish and seafood varieties. Hotel Morabeza Facilities: The Morabeza covers a large surface, with its large gardens and only low and small buildings, and it´s a nice architectural solace from tall seascape-altering buildings with no personality.
The large recreation area includes two fresh water swimming pools, two tennis courts, volleyball, a fitness course and a gym. A spa massage area, archery practice, mini-golf, pétanque, and a games room complete with snookers, table tennis, darts and board games are also available.
