Camping Ile des Barrats Overview

Camping Ile des Barrats is open each summer between mid-May and the end of September, offering a well-kept campsite at the foot of Mont Blanc and within walking distance of Chamonix town centre.

The camp site is an ideal choice for anyone on foot wanting easy access to Chamonix and all the tourist attractions and facilities there.

Camping Ile des Barrats Accommodation:

There are 53 flat pitches at the Camping Ile des Barrats and the plots are separated with hedges and pine trees. Camping cars are not allowed, but you can park your car or motorbike next to your tent. During high season a pitch for two adults for a tent hooked up to electricity with a car is 28 euros.

Camping Ile des Barrats Facilities:

The camp site has onsite shower and toilet block with washing machine and dryer. There are also shower facilities for handicapped visitors too.

Camping Ile des Barrats Location:

The Camping Ile des Barrats is at the entrance to Chamonix on the south side of the town and offers easy access to the Aiguille du Midi lift station which is just 500m away.
