La Giettaz is not so much a resort, but more of a winter village with a very authentic, relaxed feel to it. It lays in the heart of Aravis Mountains, close to Megeve and La Clusaz, and has a great view over the Alpes and of Mont-Blanc. La Giettaz ski area has 22km of slopes for all levels, but from the village you can also access the Jaillet area which consists of La Giettaz, Megeve (Jaillet area), Combloux and Cordon, offering 90 km of slopes for the whole family. You can also access the huge Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area, which consists not only of the Jaillet area, but all of the Megeve ski area, st Gervais, St Nicolas de Veroce and Les Contamines.
