Cross country skiing in Chamonix
Cross country skiing, otherwise known as XC Skiing, is a popular winter sport in the Chamonix Valley with lots of pisted cross country trails around the valley. Beginners should book a lesson as cross country skiing isn't as easy as it looks!
There are lots of cross country ski trails in the Chamonix Valley, including the Prarion Plateau in Les Houches, Les Bois, Argentiere and Vallorcine. To make the most of this gentle winter sport you should book a lesson as it's a tricky sport to get the hang of, whether you try classic or skating style.
