Sightseeing in Chamonix

Sightseeing is what sets Chamonix apart from other ski resorts. It's not purpose-built, it's a proper French alpine town and that means there's loads to see and do both in resort and beyond.

Sightseeing can mean staying in Chamonix and doing the classics, or heading further afield to take in some of the impressive scenery with easy reach of Chamonix. A favourite has to be Annecy - one of the prettiest lakes you'll ever see, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Just don't forget your cameras!
