Museums in Costa Rica

While Costa Rica may be considered a young nation, it is rich in history and cultural heritage that is displayed proudly throughout the many museums located in the Central Valley.  Well worth a visit for the ancient indian history

Natural history, archeology, anthropology, science, and educational exhibits are the platforms that the museums in Costa Rica use to take you from the rise and fall of pre-Columbian societies right up to the current cultural facts of this land of wonder.  All of the larger museums are located in the San Jose area -others are in the local towns.
