The town is easily accessible by car by following the road signs:
If you are travelling from nearby Slovenia, through the border crossing at Rupa, road signs will direct you to Kastav just before the western entrance to Rijeka;
If you are travelling from Rijeka, follow the road signs and choose exit Rijeka-west (Kastav);
If you are travelling from Opatija, follow the road signs from Matulji to Kastav
If you are travelling by bus or train, choose Rijeka or Opatija as your destinations and then take a bus or taxi to Kastav. If you choose to travel by plane, there are airports in Rijeka (on the island of Krk), Zagreb and Pula at your disposal. Kastav is easily accessible from all the airports mentioned.

	Kukuriku Overview Kukuriku Restaurant is known for its etno-gastro service both domestically and internationally, which is the result of a long standing tradition of avant-garde approach to cooking and to clarity of vision of its creator Nenad Kukurin. His distinct style and artistic approach to food preparation and presentation has set many of today’s accepted guidelines in gastronomy and fusion of sometimes unexpected food and wine combinations. The many awards and recognitions he has received in his long career are not the ultimate pleasure for Nenad Kukurin, who admits that his greatest joy is to see his guests content and satisfied after preparing and presenting them with his personally created dishes. The restaurant has the capacity to accommodate 35-45 diners. On a hotel's front terrace we can accommodate up to 30 guests. Kastav is situated in the northern part of the eastern Adriatic coast, in the north part of the Kvarner Bay, only 10 km west from Rijeka and 6 km north from Opatija.
