Camel Park

The beautiful Camel Park was set-up in 1998 and offers adventure and fun for all the family. The family run park focuses on sharing their great love for nature and animals.

In the past, camels were used for transportation, whereas today, Cypriot camels can only be seen within the unique Camel Park.

Hidden in the lovely countryside, just 15 minutes drive from Larnaka, the park is a great place for relaxation and enjoyment. The Camel Park is a good place to get closer to nature and share direct contact with the animals. The stars of the park are, of course, the camels. The park is a home for more than 100 animals, including ostriches, goats, deers, ponies, wallabies, lamas, alpacas, lemurs, turtles, fish, birds and 60 camels, each of them with a unique name and character.

You can take a pony or camel ride within the park's grounds or if you are up for more of a challenge, enjoy an exciting safari ride through the countryside; a wonderful experience for both adults and children. The duration of the ride is approximately 10-15 minutes.  

The kids will never be bored as there is such a big variety of things to choose from. Apart from the charming animals they can have great fun in the playground area with the bouncy castle, swings, bumper cars, mini train ride, go-karts, trampoline, flight simulator, mini golf and, mini Aquarium and games area. Additionally, there is an indoor game area with coin operated rides. Also, kids can try the new 'inflatable balls' and have great fun rolling around on top of the swimming pool!

You can also relax and stroll around the beautiful shaded gardens, or head up to the restaurant and try some delicious Cypriot dishes and snacks. During the summer the swimming pool is a fantastic escape from the hot temperatures. There are plenty of benches where adults can sit back and relax whilst the kids enjoy their time playing. 

At the park you can purchase camel milk which is the new alternative medicine. The milk has been shown to improve quality of life for those with food allergies, diabetes, autism, auto immune - disorders.

The Camel Park can also be used for barbecues, parties and school excursions. The restaurant can cater for up to 400 people.

Entrance Fee for Adults: €5.00 (including swimming pool)

Camel Ride for Adults: €10.00 (including entrance & swimming pool)
Camel Ride for Children: €8.00 (including entrance & swimming pool)
Picnic area per table: €5.00

*All prices include the swimming pool.
*Camel Ride ticket is deductible from entrance ticket.

Camel Rides
This Camel ride lasts about 15 minutes and is an experience not to be missed. Prices are €8.00 for children and €10.00 for adults. 
The entrance fee is deducted and includes the Swimming pool fee as well). Get your camera ready for memorable photos!
