The Dominican Republic is located on the Caribbean Island of Hispaniola, which it shares with Haiti. Hispaniola is the second largest island in the Archipelago of the Antilles, lying west of Puerto Rico and the east of Cuba and Jamaica. It is bathed by the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea and the gentle currents of the Atlantic.
In this Caribbean island you can find everything you have been dreaming of, year-round sun and exotic fine sand beaches, but the Dominican Republic does not just offer relaxation, it offers you the opportunity to do different kinds of sporting and outdoor activities such as golf (there are more than 30 golf courses around the country) and adventure sports such as mountain biking, diving, windsurfing, kitesurfing, canyoning and rafting among others.
There are a great number of eco tours that you can choose from that will make your visit unforgettable.
If you are a nature lover then you must visit our nature parks where you can admire the biodiversity and the different species in their natural habitat. To top that off you also have the incredible opportunity to see the whales that come to the bay in Samaná every year to reproduce.
