This destination is created to be the epitome of luxury, with elaborate and exotic décor and every conceivable comfort and attraction. Atlantis The Palm Rooms: Guests can choose from 1,373 rooms and 166 suites. The furnishings are an elegant mix of traditional styles, with influences from Arab design and from the resort’s ocean theme.
In the Royal Towers, guests can choose from Deluxe Guestrooms (on the lower five floors) or Atlantis Guest Rooms (on the upper floors), with king-sized beds or two queen beds. The rooms have full or French balconies. The Executive Suites have a separate living room, a French balcony, and a bathroom with a large freestanding bathtub. The Terrace Suites have a separate living room and a large balcony with views of the Arabian Gulf or Palm Jumeirah. The Regal Suites have private terraces, a living/dining area, and a private pantry. The Presidential Suites have a large living room and dining room, a butler’s pantry, and a master bedroom with two en-suite baths, each with water-jet bathtubs. There is a large balcony, and optional butler service. Guests enter the Royal Suites through a large private lobby. The master bedroom has two en-suite bathrooms. One bathroom has an open shower with a water wall, as well as a large bathtub with water-jets. The large living and dining room are perfect for entertaining, and there is a butler’s pantry with its own entrance. A three-sided sun terrace provides additional space and spectacular views.
For a unique luxury experience, the Lost Chambers Suites have glass walls in the bedroom and bath that provide an underwater view to the Ambassador Lagoon…you can watch the tropical fish swim by while enjoying breakfast in bed. These suites have a dining and living area and a butler’s pantry; a butler is available around the clock. For the ultimate in Luxury, you can stay at the Bridge Suite, located above the arch between the Royal Towers. This suite has three bedrooms, two terraces, and three bedroom suites, served by a 24-hour butler service. There are several lounges, including a reception lounge, a library, and a dining room. The master bedroom and the king bedroom have two en-suite bathrooms, and the third room has two queen-sized beds and its own private bath.
Guests can also book with the Imperial Club, the “resort within a resort,” for even more personal service, and access to the Imperial Club Lounge, which serves breakfast and evening cocktails. Atlantis The Palm Restaurants & Bars: The resort offers a number of dining options, including menus created by well-known chefs in a variety of cuisines. Rostang is a French Brasserie by Chef Michel Rostang. The classic French brasserie menu is augmented by a seafood raw bar and a patisserie. For Italian, Ronda Locatelli serves up new twists on the classics, using a wood-fired oven. Chef Giorgio Locatelli collaborated on this restaurant. Three-star Michelin chef Santi Santamaria offers Catalan-inspired seafood and other cuisine at Ossiano. You can watch the fish swim by in this underwater restaurant. Another seafood option is Nobu, which blends Japanese dishes with an Arabian influence in a menu created by chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
There are also a number of other restaurants, including less formal options. Levantine offers Lebanese cuisine with a show kitchen, and a show of belly dancers in the evening. Kaleidoscope is a three-meal family restaurant with a Mediterranean and North African menu. Nasimi provides poolside meals. If you are craving steak, then Seafire is the place for you. Saffron has 20 cooking stations with an international and Asian menu. The Edge and the Shore serve casual beachside drinks and snacks. Barracudas and Shark Bites offer western and Arabian classics in the Aquaventure water park. The park also has Splashers and Waves—kiosks offering various snacks.
The resort’s bars and lounges include a traditional Arabian coffee house, called Plato’s. Barazura is a late night cocktail bar, and the Levantine Bar and Terrace serves juices and cocktails, accompanied if you wish by fruit-flavored shisha hookah pipes. Nasimi Beach is located on the beach, and provides music and drinks. The Sanctuary is the resort’s nightclub, with dancing, and a terrace with tented lounge seating. Atlantis The Palm Facilities: The concierge can arrange for you to participate in a range of activities, from moonlight cruises to deep-sea fishing, championship golf, sand-skiing and even ice skating! There are tennis courts with professional coaching, and a range of activities, including mixology classes, meditation sessions, or magicians’ shows. You can swim with the dolphins at Dolphin Bay, try the water slides at Aquaventure, or explore the underwater corridors of the Lost Chambers. These glass tunnels under the Ambassador Lagoon give you a breathtaking view of the water’s myriad sea creatures. The spa has twenty-seven treatments rooms, where you can have water therapy, massages, or beauty treatments. Kids will enjoy the resort’s Kids Club activities, and the arcade games in the Zone. Splashers is a water park for children. Club Rush provides internet access, a dance floor, the latest video games, movies, and snacks and non-alcoholic drinks in the supervised lounge, which is open in the evenings for teens only. The resort also has ballrooms, conference rooms, board rooms, and a Majlis area for events and conferences. |
